A short ferry ride across the Ría de Vigo brings you to Cangas, a charming town with picturesque beaches and traditional Galician architecture. From here, a scenic walk leads you along coastal paths and through lush landscapes to the tranquil village of Aldán, nestled amidst coves and pine forests. You will take time this day to meet with our fellow walkers and to reflect on the different aspects of your life. Day 2Peninsula of Cangas de Morrazo - Facho Donon, Sunday, September 7th

Facho Donon

Departing Aldán, you ascend to Facho Donón, an ancient hilltop archeological site offering panoramic views of the Atlantic and the Cíes Islands. This pre-Roman remains from a shrine, and a pilgrimage site to Berobreo, an ancient God, inspires our walk as we take an alternative route to the Portuguese Camino de Santiago.  After soaking in the vistas, a private boat awaits to transport us across the shimmering waters to Combarro, renowned for its hórreos (stone granaries) lining the waterfront and its well-preserved historic quarter, where we sleep and experience the local seafood. The second exercise is an invitation to disconnect and use the opportunity to dig deeper into yourself and look back at your life. What you learn from your history will help you craft your future.

Accommodation: Combarro
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 3: Combarro to Armenteira, Monday, September 8th

Combarro to Armenteira

Leaving the coastal charm of Combarro, we’ll journey inland toward Armenteira. The path meanders through vineyards and rolling hills, culminating at the serene Monastery of Armenteira, a 12th-century Cistercian abbey. Here, you’ll find peace among ancient stone walls and the gentle sounds of nature, as well as a restorative rest in the modern Pousada de Armenteira. The Personal Inventory exercise will help you through your own personal SWAT analysis. Lunch meets us en route with a delicious and authentic picnic.

We will walk through a beautiful valley along the route of water & stones, a little piece of heaven - and just the right place to envision your ideal future. Embark on the enchanting Ruta da Pedra e da Auga (Route of Stone and Water), a trail that follows the Armenteira River, here still a stream, adorned with old watermills and lush greenery. As we get lower we join the bank of the Umia river. The path leads you to Cambados, the heart of Albariño wine country. Explore a historic pazo (manor house), visit a local wine cellar, and indulge in a tasting of the region's celebrated Albariño wines.

Day 5: Cambados to Vilanova De Arousa, Wednesday, September 10th

Cambados to Vilanova de Arousa

Now that you have imagined your future, you will build a bridge from your vision back to the present. This will provide you with the momentum for the decisions you must make and also the opportunity to align them with your purpose. The landscape keeps changing, but somehow, the walking becomes more natural. Our journey continues along sandy beaches and coastal trails to Vilanova de Arousa, a fishing town known for its maritime heritage and the birthplace of Ramón del Valle-Inclán, a great Spanish playwright of the early 1900s. Enjoy the sea views and sample fresh seafood, reflecting the town's deep connection to the ocean, and if you are up to it, we’ll visit Valle-Inclán’s house museum.

Glide past mussel farms and the historic Torres de Oeste in Catoira, arriving at Pontecesures. From there, a riverside walk takes us through Padrón, a town steeped in pilgrimage history and the origin of pimientos de Padron, and onward to Picaraña. After selecting the outcomes you commit to in the previous exercise, you are ready to detail your Action Plan. This is the program's final kilometers and the beginning of a new stage in your life.

Overnight: Picaraña
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 7: Padron to Santiago De Compostela, Friday, September 12th

Padron to Santiago de Compostela

The final leg leads us through forests and rural landscapes to the majestic Santiago de Compostela. We’ll enter the city through ancient streets, culminating at the Praza do Obradoiro, where the awe-inspiring Cathedral of Santiago stands. We’ll celebrate our journey with a heartfelt group dinner, sharing stories and reflections from the path walked together. The final exercise takes place with your Action Plan already in motion. Fine-tuning and feedback loops become your new norm. Arriving in Santiago is always a riveting experience. The arriving pilgrims' energy mixes with the university students' fiesta, and the party seems to be ongoing. Immense joy, a feeling of overcoming and satisfaction, mixes with all the stimulus of countless languages, street artists, and restaurants. Reaching the Obradoiro, the large plaza below the Cathedral, we reach the end of our way. But our program is at its apex. We stay close to Obradoiro, and this night, the dinner is almost a private group event - with special toasts to the new and old friends you will have made along the Camiño.
