Explore sights and sounds of Athens - the oldest European capital ancient & modern side by side. Visit the Acropolis, learn about the history of Athens, and enjoy the best food, wine, and cocktails that Athens has to offer.
The largest island in Greece, Crete, is where we’ll spend the rest of our trip, starting in the bustling city of Heraklion. You’ll have a beach picnic, visit vineyards, olive groves, make and eat cheese and other traditional foods. You’ll see ancient palaces, enjoy culinary traditions that have been carried on for centuries, and you’ll get off the beaten path to see how the Cretan people live.
We will wrap up our trip with three days in the picturesque town of Chania. You’ll be staying in the Old Venetian Harbor, with its winding alleyways and bustling shops, Chania is sure to charm you. And then there’s the food! You’ll visit an olive oil mill, drink local wines, and spend time with locals as we spend a day sailing on the Mediterranean.
